Promotional products distributors and suppliers need information on many different topics. Are you looking for a specific promotional product? Do you have a question about a certain type of imprint? Do you want to keep up on hot industry topics? Let’s take a look at a few excellent resources in our industry designed to answer those questions and many more.



If you are looking for ideas and tips on how to grow your business, FreePromoTips is a great resource. Jeff Solomon created FreePromoTips in 2005 and since then has provided informative and thought provoking material for promotional marketing professionals. Participation and comments from readers is strongly encouraged. Check them out at www.freepromotips.com and don’t forget to sign up for their newsletter.

Founded in 1999, PromoCorner is a great way for both suppliers and distributors to get their promotions in front of thousands of buyers. PromoCorner.com has an opt-in email subscriber base of over 65,000 distributor salespeople. Their mirror site, myPromoSaver.com, is linked to over 300 distributor websites and receives thousands of visits from end users each month. PromoCorner’s search function allows distributors to search thousands of products by keyword, supplier, category or price. Visit www.promocorner.com for their current advertising options and rates.

Commonsku is a relatively new industry tool. It was designed solely for the promotional products industry. Commonsku is a combination of order management, CRM, finance and social networking. This tool is integrated with SAGE, making it easy to add products to your presentations. Communsku is cloud based and be accessed from any internet connected device, like your iphone or Android. Another great resource for our industry is LinkedIn. There are several different groups that you can join that are dedicated to the promotional products industry. Group members can post questions or comments for other members to respond to. Not only will you meet others in our industry, you also have a great tool if you have a question that you just can't find an answer to.
