Do It Now! The Benefits of Ordering Early

Krista Polka, CAS, Sales

The time has come again to get those holiday orders placed and taken care of! While some are pushing the holiday season to the back of their mind, and possibly even dreading the mere thought of it, others are taking advantage of placing their orders early. Here are just some of the reasons why:

Ordering Early May Mean Significant Discounts

Go get your discounts! Those who are taking advantage of ordering early are more likely to be receiving significant discounts by doing so. Early order discounts are seen industry wide, but maybe are not taken advantage of to their full extent.  Though that 5%, 10%, 15%, or even 20% may not seem like a significant number, it all adds up to save an immense amount of money in the end. Who doesn’t love to save money?

Less Stress, More Convenience

This one is an obvious benefit within itself as there is a prominent convenience factor of ordering early. The holiday season is stressful enough in and of itself without having to be concerned about making sure all orders are submitted in time to get your holiday gifts delivered on time. If you place an order in September for a holiday gift, this allows for all parties to handle the order in a more timely, efficient manner. If questions come up on the order, the supplier has more time to be sure the correct answer is provided for smooth sailing of the order. It really is a win, win for everyone involved.

Check Tasks Off Your To-Do List

If an order is placed early, this allows the company to check tasks off the never-ending to-do list. Not only are you able to check tasks off early, you are also able to stay ahead of any potential competitors.  Being able to order early can be seen as a significant vantage point for your customer. If you are able to aid your customer in ordering early, this can lead to a stronger relationship between you and your customer, more trust being developed, and an overall positive experience for everyone. Not to mention, this will have your customer coming back to you time and time again.

Get Your Orders In, Stay Grateful!

While holiday orders begin rolling in fast and furious, you may begin to feel overwhelmed. Remember to harness that overwhelming feeling into grateful energy to continue generating great business, building outstanding relationships, and enjoying the rush that is the holiday season.

Happy selling!
